Five Things I’d Like You to Remember

With the Spring equinox energies here, I'm finding that these intense energies are giving us an opportunity to do some deep internal Spring cleaning.  I'd like you to remember the following five things as you're going through the process of cleansing issues on a mental, emotional, and  physical level so you can free yourself up from the past:

1. There is no such thing as karma where we deserve to be punished due to being “bad“ in other lifetimes. The main reason we experience difficulties is because we haven’t forgiven ourselves.

2. If we’ve had a lifetime where we did things we regret and we don’t forgive ourselves, we duplicate it in another lifetime with people who are playing the role of what we thought was so “bad” about ourselves.

3. We can forgive these people and, through forgiving them, forgive ourselves.

4. We come to “master” certain issues. That’s why the issues come back again and again. As an example, if we have ten levels of mastery and you’re at level 5, you still have five levels of mastery to attain. Each level may become more complicated to see how your skill has increased.

5. You may feel worst before better since the body feels the past pain as its trying to release it. Do not create a new story around the old painful story. Be with the discomfort without trying to figure it out and fix it and ask your body to let it go.

Wow, your post really hit me like a ton of bricks. I especially liked where you said that if we had done something "bad" in a past life and hadn't forgiven ourselves, then we'll have a person in this lifetime playing the role of what we thought was so "bad" about ourselves. Well, I have that person in my life - a family member. This person is nothing but nice to me, but I feel such annoyance with her (I've gotten better because it used to be hate). So how do we forgive ourselves of our past life deeds? Sometimes I think just saying "I forgive myself" isn't enough. How do I get to that deep cellular level of forgiveness.

I really, really enjoyed this post and I look forward to following your blog. Thanks!!!

I'm thinking about number 2. What does that look like in the current life? A person we find "difficult"? Does it mean the earlier life didn't cross over or just that we ended without resolving something?

Looking forward to your posts!

This is in response to the 7:27 a.m. questions by anonymous.

Thank you for your comments and your good questions! Sorry about the delay--I finally figured out how to access everyone's comments!

It can be complicated to clear up past life issues. One thing I've noticed is if the emotions are strong with someone, the past life may still be energetically running on some level.

There may be a past life where you, or the person you had problems with (or both), have not crossed over once a life time is completed.(Gerri brought these questions up in the next post). I take a string theory or quantum mechanics approach that we live in a multi-dimensional universe. Our souls are multi-dimensional and can be a part of at least 11 dimensions/realities all at the same time. I also believe that we live in a no time, no space Universe. Our brains are wired to operate using linear time but we are really in a non-linear time reality thinking we are linear. Therefore, a past life self may be afraid to cross over to the other side or is too traumatized to realize he/she has died so hangs out as a lost soul in our energy field causing us to feel the feelings from that life time.

If both you and your family member's past life selves have already crossed over it could be that you never resolved a major issue from that life time (or many life times) so are now in the process of doing just that.

Try this: ask that your Higher Self pinpoints any life times that need to be resolved with your family member. Ask that any life times you've had with this person whereby either of you has not crossed over is brought to your attention.

Next, try to get a sense of the life time by closing your eyes and going within. It may seem like your imagination but go with it anyways. Ask that a tunnel of light appears to any lifetimes where you/they are still lost souls. Ask that the relatives and friends they loved appear for them and any loving spirit guides that can help them. Ask that these helpers assist them in crossing over.

If they cross over, your body should start to feel lighter. Next, follow my advice on my next blog about guilt and lack of forgiveness.

Some times we all need help from professionals so, if its too hard to do on your own, get some assistance.

Good luck and keep me posted on how you're doing!
