Turning Problems into Lessons

My last post talked about the need to forgive ourselves and master certain issues in our lives.  Because we're here to gain mastery, there are no problems only lessons to be learned.

I see the soul anchored at the heart. The soul comes into physical form with certain lessons it wants to learn. You could say that it’s like a computer chip that carries what you’ve come to learn and who you’ve come to learn them with. This information is activated when the timing is right and then puts out a signal that its time to learn these lessons.  You then attract the people and situations that can help you learn the most.  Some of these people and situations may be challenging but you're up for the challenge--you've freely chosen to learn these important lessons so you can move into higher consciousness and wisdom.

Once a part of the lesson has been learned, some of the people you've chosen to experience this segment with with will leave your life and some will stay.  Its all part of the plan.  There is no loss only lessons learned and completed.

My dear cousin said to me during hospice, after a near death experience:  "I could see that we're all like actors and actresses on a stage.  I've completed my role here--I'm off to pick a new role now."  Well said.

We are all masters in training.  What are your experiences as a "master in training" whereby you are attracting more complicated lessons as you move forward with more inner wisdom and depth?  Write a comment on the  link below so we can all benefit from your wisdom.

Some of my favorite words on this topic are from The Lazy Man's Guide to Enlightenment, where Tad Golas speaks of karma as encountering "the kind of experiences you withdrew from in the past....if you look calmly at undesired events, absorb them mentally, and love yourself for disliking them, you will keep going higher."

Even if I resist the circumstances and people who show up in my life, I can still forgive myself for disliking them.
